Draft for review — not yet legally binding

This document is an unreviewed draft prepared as a starting point. It must be checked and amended by a Thai lawyer familiar with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and tourism regulations before Sea Hills Resort relies on it. Items in [square brackets] are placeholders awaiting real details.

Our approach

Non-essential cookies and tracking scripts stay switched off until you actively accept them. If you choose “essential cookies only”, no analytics script is loaded at all — we do not simply hide the notice and carry on.

Essential cookies and storage

  • Your cookie choice itself, so we do not ask again on every page.
  • Your language preference for the site.
  • A short-lived session for staff who log in to update the website's content.
  • Security and load-balancing data set by our hosting provider.

These are necessary for the site to work, so they do not require consent under the PDPA.

Optional analytics cookies

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures which pages guests visit and how they reach us, so we can improve the site and understand direct bookings. [Confirm the retention period and whether IP anonymisation is enabled.]

These load only after you accept. Withdrawing consent stops them from loading again.

Third-party content

Some pages embed content from other companies — our booking engine (WuBook/ZaK), an Instagram feed, and any map embed — and those companies may set their own cookies once the content loads. Their own policies apply to that content.

Change your choice

You can accept or withdraw consent here at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your current choice

You have not made a choice yet — only essential cookies are in use.
